Winsome is now on her way from Genoa to Valetta, Malta. The last stretch of her voyage, piggy back on Sevenstar’s BBC Greenland. Their she wil be brought to her berth, shortly after being joined by Harry and Floris who will perform a meticulous check of he old Lady to be sure Seventstar’s BBC Greenland treated her wel.

On the 11th and 12th of October a large part of the crew will fly to Southampton to do their (refresher) Sea Survival Course. A couple of days later they will continue their journey to Malta to complete Winsome’s crew for their next race: The Rolex Middle Sea Race.

A record breaking number of entries have entered this year: 115 yachts. The number can still grow as the closing entry date is October 10th… Winsome will sail in IRC 5, we will be one of the smaller yachts, giving us enough time to enjoy the race and time on the water… Up till now, 15 yachts are contesting in IRC 5.
