Addendum to previous blog; a novum

May 1, 2017

We had a nice race with a good result. At least, so it looked until this morning.

On our second debriefing this morning we looked at our track again, with the objective to see why we did so well at the very end of the race, passing even our champion Noël Racine on FOGGY DEW resulting into a second place instead of a third.

What we discovered was negative and positive at the same time. The longitude of General Metzinger Buoy was put in Expedition as EAST instead of WEST. We checked our track carefully and found we did not respect this Mark to port.

Much to our regret we have to withdraw from this race and consider ourselves RET.
