2015 Cowes Week Training Day 2

As there was absolutely no wind today, we just realised that our Thursday training day more valuable then ever.

We spend some tome over preparing WINSOME, adding new clam-cleats and elastics to store sheets and sails.

As for tomorrow very little wind is predicted, we will prepare our Genoa I light as good as possible. For the first part of the week, light circumstances are anticipated. If there are 2 lay-days during the week, no discart races. As this is a real possibility; no OCS (on course side) starts are allowed.

 

To keep crew spirits high, the Mario/Joost brothers made home WINSOME’s cottage made pizza oven baked pizza’s.

For tomorrow, our start is scheduled for 11:30. We do not expect the sea breeze to be strong enough for sailing until 15:00. So let’s hope we can give you a racing report tomorrow!
