Preparations for the Y-Toren Race

Thanks to Nicolaas’ observations that Winsome was scheduled in ORC-3 Group, I have requested and obtained the permission of the Y-Toren Race Committee to take on our own accord a penalty of more than 5 seconds per Nm. The Watersportverbond has nicely cooperated and has issued a new ORC Certificate showing a GPH of 649,9 enabling us to sail in ORC-2 Class.

Consequently we need to have the same speed as in the 2007 Skandia Cowes Week as per inserted photograph taken by Otto.
